Neoprene waders are a popular choice with sea anglers as the close fitting material helps to keep you both warm and dry. They are obviously good for wading into the water but also very good for keeping out the rain, spray and waves when stood on rock ledges. One area where neoprene's do not excel is fishing in abrasive situations so if access to your favorite spot involves sliding down cliffs and clambering over sharp rocks then neoprene may not be the way to go.
