The relay clip streamlines traces during casting allowing greater distances to be reached.It also reduces whiplash damage to baits as the cast is released.
Other baitclips have arrived since but the relay still has some advantages.It is adjustable to allow for having to shorten a snood. It accomodates reasonably large baits.It can be used upside down for up and over rigs.
If you'e new to baitclips dont forget to use a bait stop on the line to stop bait sliding away from hook during the cast. 10 clips packet.
